Karathona Bay<\/h1>\n

Beautiful large bay with sandy beach not far from Nafplio, 10 km away from us, with about 2 km length. Here, according to the will of the colonels, a large naval base was built. History overtook this idea and the colonels. After that, a huge hotel complex was built instead. Everything was prepared: roads, drinking water supply, energy connection. Cypress trees, eucalyptus trees and palm trees were planted, only the hotels fortunately never built. Therefore, one finds here today always a shadow and even a few hundred guests are not particularly noticeable on the beach. Very flat on the edge, also suitable for children.
